Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is one of New Hampshire's oldest concert venues and also hosts wrestling and boxing events. The Casino Ballroom opened in 1899 and has hosted generations of legendary talent. The list of performers who have played The Ballroom is as extensive as it is impressive. Just to name a few, BB King, Social Distortion, George Thorogood, Gretchen Wilson, Lewis Black, Ratdog, Willie Nelson, and Crosby, Stills & Nash have graced the stage of Hampton Beach.
Year after year, the biggest complaint we hear is the sweltering heat inside the venue. The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is located right on the beach, on the second floor, without a speck of shade in sight, and is not air conditioned. In fact, the building sits as an island in an ocean of pavement, connected to sun baked sand. Mid-summer shows can be smothering, be sure to leave your sweater in the car. |
| Parking at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is a breeze. The venue offers paid parking in the lot connected to the building, usually at a fair price, about $10. If you're willing to walk a block or three, you may save a few bucks in other lots. Parking is almost always available. Public spaces are available, but you won't be able to feed enough quarters in to make it through the show, and parking enforcement is strict. |
The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is pretty easy to get to, regardless of where you're coming from. There is primarily one major route in from each of the three directions. The fourth direction is water. You'll find the Ballroom at:
