Parking for Monarchs Games:  Tip, there is an Ocean Bank about 2 blocks from the arena where you can often find free parking.  Look one block behind the Radisson Hotel.  Officially, there is a "parking for bank business only" policy, but they don't seem to mind if people use the lot for event parking, but please respect their grounds so they don't need to change that.  This lot is one of the best kept secrets of the Verizon, you can almost always find a free spot.  If not, there is a public lot a block or so down that road you should try.  If all else fails, there is a garage on Granite Street.  It's about $10.  It's clean and safe, but you'll experience the waits you'd expect from an event garage when you leave.
