At TicketsFromTheWeb.com, we're aware that you have
choices. But not all ticket agencies are the same. Perhaps
you've been shopping around for your tickets. You've likely seen
many sites offering the same, or very similar, inventory. You've
likely seen many sites boasting similar claims of having the lowest
prices. We urge you to explore the reality of those claims.
Nearly all online ticket agencies pull their inventory from one of a few
major inventory feeds owned and managed by some pretty big companies.
Most sellers (the company or individual who actually owns the ticket
being offered) list their seats in more than one of these inventory
feeds. So there may be some differences in inventory displayed,
but, for the most part, all online ticket agencies begin with the same
inventory and pay the same price for that inventory.
The difference between the different ticket agencies is price, service,
and knowledge.
Price:
The first thing you need to know about price is a discussion of service
charges and the different pricing structures ticket brokers use.
Again, all brokers start with the same wholesale price. Each
different company can then add their own mark up representing their
profit. Of course, a seemingly endless list of "overhead" needs to
come from this initial profit, it's business 101. Credit card
processing and commissions paid to the hosts of those "inventory feeds"
are two of the biggest costs associated with these sale.
Marketing, office costs, insurances, etc all come out as well....
So it doesn't take too much thought to understand that no broker can
sell tickets in this manner without a reasonable markup.
If you are price shopping, it is critical that you understand that there
is a significant trend within the secondary ticketing market of brokers
displaying a cheaper price, and then adding their profits during the
checkout process as a "service charge". Be sure you are comparing
"apples to apples". If you're price comparing, walk through the
sale a bit on all of the sites you're comparing and be sure to use the
final price in your analysis. TicketsFromTheWeb.com does not
utilize service charges, or any other hidden cost as part of our pricing
structure. Your bottom line price is plainly displayed for our
tickets. See our
discussion of service charges by ticket brokers
for more thoughts on this subject.

Knowledge:
There are many very large companies selling tickets. An
interesting fact is that many of these companies never own a single
ticket. They're just marketing companies who are marking up
the prices of brokers tickets. Many are staffed by operators who
know little or nothing about the tickets they are selling, the venues
for which they are selling them, or the markets in which they are
working. TicketsFromTheWeb.com has been in business since 1999.
We are a leader in the industry and one of the biggest
New Hampshire ticket agencies. We
have an impressive inventory portfolio of our own which is a part of the
inventory feed discussed above. We have the experience you need to
handle your order the right way. We're not a marketing company,
we're real ticket brokers, selling real tickets, with real knowledge. |
