Let’s face it, police put their pants on the same way we do… and they do make mistakes. If you feel like you’ve been wrongly accused of an offense remember, a ticket is an accusation, not a conviction. You might want to consider contesting your Manchester traffic ticket. More than half of all traffic tickets which are contested result in reduced fines, reduced penalties, or case dismissal. Parking Tickets
The Parking Enforcement in Manchester, NH can be strict. The meters are cheap, so it’s probably not worth the risk to save your dime. If you do find a ticket on your windshield...
To pay your parking ticket in Manchester, NH:
If you do end up with a parking ticket, it’s usually not too costly. But most fines double after 7 days, so don’t forget about it! See the fine schedule here for more information.
Mail your fine to:
City of Manchester
Ordinance Violations Bureau
1 City Hall Plaza
Manchester, NH 03101
If you want to contest your Manchester, NH parking ticket…
There are 2 methods to contest your parking ticket in Manchester, NH.
The informal method is to send a letter to the Ordinance Violations Bureau and state your case as to why you do not feel you should have to pay your fine. They will take this letter to the police department, have it reviewed and then get back to you. Be sure to write intelligently and respectfully for your best chance.
The formal method is to request a court date. You also do this at the Ordinance Violations Bureau at 1 City Hall Plaza. The easiest way is to go in with your citation and identification. They can give you a hearing date at that time.
You can also mail them a letter. When I spoke with them while researching this page, they were specific that you need to include your date of birth and your physical address (no PO boxes). You do not need to state your case in this letter, just the identifying information off of your citation (a copy of it is probably best), a letter with the information I just mentioned, and a polite letter requesting a hearing.
Either way, remember that parking tickets in Manchester, NH are due in just 7 days, so act quickly if you wish to contest it!

Manchester Airline Tickets
Manchester, NH is home to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. Located off of Brown Ave, Manchester Airport has grown to become one of the biggest airports in the northeast. If you’re coming in from out of town, and you haven’t been to Manchester lately, you’re going to appreciate this airport. You don’t hear a lot of positive comments about airports, and certainly not from me! But Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is the best I’ve ever been to. It is clean, things run smoothly, the parking is plentiful and fairly priced, you get your baggage quickly after a flight, long lines at check-in are rare.
I grew up outside of Washington, D.C. and have flown in and out of a fair number of major cities. I first saw Manchester Airport shortly after my mother moved to the state in 1991. I swear to you, it was like flying in and out of a shady bus stop. Not in the sense of being unsafe, but it was just that small. Since then, it’s taken on growth like I’ve never seen. Most people I know in this area simply will not even consider flying out of Boston anymore. There’s no reason to, you can get anywhere you need to go, often non-stop, from one of the 8 major airlines at Manchester Airport. The ticket prices are better than Boston. You pay less for parking. And the drives aren’t even comparable. If you’re coming to New Hampshire, insist on flying into Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
If you get a parking ticket at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport:
Most parking tickets at Manchester Airport are issued by the private airport security, which is contracted to “Reliable Security”. The airport is also within the jurisdiction of the Londonderry Police Department, so be sure you know who issued your citation. If you should be the unlucky recipient of a parking ticket issued by Manchester Airport Security, you can send payment to:
Manchester Airport
Parking Enforcement
1 Airport Rd
Suite 300
Manchester, NH 03103-3395
If you want to contest your parking ticket, here’s what you need to do:
You need to write a letter requesting a hearing to the address above. They will not waive your citation through a phone call. If you’re from out of the area, you may be best off to swallow your pride and pay it.

Manchester, NH has a major bus station operated by Concord Trailways. It is located at 119 Canal St. I have personally traveled through their service and recommend it. Ski Lift Tickets around Manchester, NH
Manchester has several great ski mountains within a short drive. Pat’s Peak is just 60 minutes away, and Attitash Mountain, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods Mountain Resort, Ragged Mountain Resort, Gunstock Mountain Resort, and Whaleback Mountain are all within reach. Ski lift tickets can be purchased at most resorts upon arrival. But at peak season, they can reach capacity. I found a card that allows me to ski at 7 New Hampshire Mountains and 11 other New England mountains as I please. It doesn’t have any blackouts, not even holidays or weekends, so I can use it any day I please throughout the season. Check out their ad below for more details on that. It makes an awesome gift too!
You can also contact the resorts directly, they each have their own pricing and packaging for their ski lift tickets.

Train Tickets in Manchester, NH
Manchester, NH does not have any type of passenger train service. There are several miles of old track that run through our city, but they’re rarely used anymore. We hear politicians talk about revitalizing NH’s railways, but I don’t think any substantial progress has been made, I suspect that it comes back to cost-effectiveness, particularly in a state known for it’s snow and ice.

Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are one of the most popular fund raising methods used by many organizations in the Manchester, NH area. Commonly used by Manchester sports teams, civic organizations, and Manchester businesses, raffle tickets are a fun, cost-effective way to build fund-raising revenue! In a time where everyone’s life is busy, it becomes harder and harder to find volunteers. Even with the best of intentions, parents are finding it increasingly difficult to do volunteer work. Raffles are ideal fundraisers because of the limited work involved in planning and preparing. I found the raffle tickets below at Amazon, and they’re pretty cheap!

Hotels in Manchester, NH
Manchester, NH has many many hotels! All of the major hotels and motels have a location around, many have a couple variations. Even with as many hotels as we have, there are times that our hotels do fill up. Major sporting events, tourist seasons, and conventions at the Radisson Hotel all affect the number of hotels with vacancy in Manchester.
Most of the hotels in Manchester are pretty nice. There are some sketchy rooms around in Manchester, stay with a brand name. My family tends to be on the conservative side when it comes to money, and they have saved a ton on their hotel rooms using Hotwire.
