How to contest your traffic ticket in Concord, NH
Let’s face it, police put their pants on the same way we do… and they do make mistakes. If you feel like you’ve been wrongly accused of an offense remember, a ticket is an accusation, not a conviction. You might want to consider contesting your Concord traffic ticket. More than half of all traffic tickets which are contested result in reduced fines, reduced penalties, or case dismissal. Before you mail in your check, consider Traffic Ticket Defense Strategies. Parking Tickets
The Parking Enforcement in Concord, NH is tough. If you’re “just running in!”, you might want to think twice before skimping on the meter. They’re known to ticket those people, and are not known for “letting this one slide”.
To pay your parking ticket in Concord, NH:
If you do end up with a parking ticket, it’s usually not too costly. But most fines double after 5 days, so don’t forget about it!
Mail your fine to:
City of Concord
P.O. Box 9582
Manchester, NH 03108
If you’re the feisty type and want to contest your parking ticket…
They don’t make it easy on you to do this.
The following is a direct quote from the City of Concord’s official website:
“The City of Concord does not currently have an appeals process in place”
Fortunately, there is a process. Here’s what you need to do...
First, make an appointment to speak with the issuing officer; the phone number is
603-225-8640.
Then, if you still have a dispute, you need to request a hearing before a judge. My suspicion is that it would be at the courthouse at 32 Clinton St, but I sincerely don’t know.

Bus Tickets for Concord, NH
Concord, NH has a major bus station operated by Concord Trailways. It is located at 30 Stickney Ave. I have personally traveled through their service and recommend it. The buses are clean and comfortable and the staff is knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. I suspect you could get just about anywhere you’d want to go from there. TicketsFromTheWeb.com does not currently have a service for Bus Tickets. I’d recommend contacting Concord Trailways directly. Their phone number is 1-800-639-3317.
Concord, NH also has a public transit system, called CAT (Concord Area Transit). The routes tend to be limited, but as Concord grows, so will the system. Check out the CAT website here:

Ski Lift Tickets around Concord, NH
Concord has several great ski mountains within a short drive. Pat’s Peak is just 30 minutes away, and Attitash Mountain, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods Mountain Resort, Ragged Mountain Resort, Gunstock Mountain Resort, and Whaleback Mountain are all within reach. Ski lift tickets can be purchased at most resorts upon arrival. But at peak season, they can reach capacity. I found a card that allows me to ski at 7 New Hampshire Mountains and 11 other New England mountains as I please. It doesn’t have any blackouts, not even holidays or weekends, so I can use it any day I please throughout the season. Check out their ad below for more details on that. It makes an awesome gift too!

You can also contact the resorts directly, they each have their own pricing and packaging for their ski lift tickets.

Train Tickets in Concord, NH
Concord, NH does not have any type of passenger train service. We do have several miles of old track that run through our city, but they’re rarely used anymore. We hear politicians talk about revitalizing New Hampshire’s railways, but I don’t think any substantial progress has been made, I suspect that it comes back to cost-effectiveness, particularly in a state known for it’s snow and ice.

Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are one of the most popular fund raising methods used by many organizations in the Concord, NH area. Commonly used by local sports teams, civic organizations, and Concord businesses, raffle tickets are a fun, cost-effective way to build fund-raising revenue! In a time where everyone’s life is busy, it’s become hard to find volunteers. Even with the best of intentions, parents are finding it increasingly difficult to do volunteer work. Raffles are ideal fundraisers because of the limited work involved in planning and preparing. I found the product to the right for your convenience if you’re interested in ordering raffle tickets.

Concord, NH Sports Teams
Unfortunately, our state capital is void of major professional sports. 30 minutes away, in Manchester, NH, you can find minor league hockey in the Manchester Monarchs and double-A level baseball in the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. 20 minutes in the other direction, in Loudon, NH, we have the New Hampshire International Speedway, home of 2 NASCAR races each year, the Lenox Industrial Tools 300 and the Sylvania 300.
Concord is, however, proud to be the home of the Concord Quarry Dogs, a collegiate league. If you haven’t been to a game, I recommend that you give it a shot. It’s good, competitive baseball from teams of college players performing for MLB scouts. Tickets are cheap and parking is easy! View their website, www.q-dogs.com.

Hotels in Concord, NH
Concord, NH hotels are plentiful! For those of us who live around here it seems like there are way too many! Most of the major hotels and motels have a location around, some have a couple variations. But there are times that our hotels do fill up. There are two NASCAR races at NHIS every year, one in July and one in September, and hotel rooms become very scarce on race weekends! There are also prime tourist seasons in the summer and fall that create vacancy issues. And, because Concord is the State Capital of New Hampshire, government schedules also effect the number of hotels with vacancy in Concord.
Most of the hotels in Concord are pretty nice. You really don’t need to worry about sketchy rooms here, although you could probably find one or two if you tried. My family tends to be on the conservative side when it comes to money, and they have saved a ton on their hotel rooms using Hotwire. Both in and around Concord, NH they end up with nice, clean rooms in major-chain hotels, and they get the hotel rooms at the best prices! Sometimes even at the last minute!
Top hotels use Hotwire to sell their empty beds at deep discounts!
